| Important School Vote on September 14th
On Tuesday, September 14, there will be a vote with two issues on the ballot related to school finances. One issue is to renew the Pleasantville School District’s Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL) that has been in place for many years. The 10-year term expires after this year. The other issue is to pass a “Revenue Purpose Statement” for the statewide sales tax. The sales tax revenue will be received as a result of legislative action. The schools need to pass language that tells how the money will be spent. Both of these revenue sources are for infrastructure (physical plant and facilities related) purposes. It allows schools to then focus general fund expenditures in areas related to instruction.

| HOMECOMING 2010 Shirt Orders |
Homecoming is Friday, October 1st. Order forms and money are due back by Friday, September 3rd. Orders will be accepted at the game on Friday night. There will also be order forms available at the home volleyball games this week...Tuesday and Thursday, August 31 and September 2.
In addition to the Homecoming shirts we are taking orders for football jerseys. If you would like to take a special look at all the items the Tack Shack has to offer, let Mrs. Sharon Thill know.
